Bulk NPI matching converts provider rows with names, addresses, phone numbers, or specialties into confidence-rated matches against the federal NPPES registry. No NPI number is required in the input.

Batch workflow
Speed matters, but a large file full of unexplained identifiers creates a new review problem. Bulk NPI results are more useful when each completed row includes confidence and evidence.
Lookup plus resolution
A batch can contain nicknames, DBAs, missing ZIP codes, stale phone numbers, and organizations with multiple NPIs. Bulk lookup works best when it includes safeguards for ambiguous rows.
Workflow
Start with provider names, organization names, addresses, cities, states, ZIPs, phones, specialties, or known NPI hints.
Tell the resolver which columns carry entity, location, and contact signals.
Process all rows, remaining rows, low-confidence rows, failures, or a selected subset.
